The BMW M5 is a superior variant of the BMW 5-Series official car manufactured by the Motorsport division of BMW. Starting generation in 1986, the first incarnation of the M5 was hand-fabricated using the 535i skeleton and an altered BMW M1 motor, being the speediest creation vehicle on the planet at the time of its introduction.[1] Subsequent cycles of the M5 have been constructed from every era of the 5-Series stage, including the E34, E39, E60/E61, and most as of late, F10, with the first requests conveyed in late 2011.
